Matthew Harris
As the owner of Medium Well, Matthew Harris has over 12 years experience with the web,
delivering e-commerce solutions, effective website design and successful e-marketing
business development solutions.
Starting at the agency @radicalmedia in New York City back in 1995, working on early
websites and interactive projects (touch screen booths, interactive waiters at Atlanta
Olympics, Xerox, MOMA, IBM, JVC, Black and Decker, Elle Magazine, George Magazine,
Car and Driver, Coke, and Nike.), Matthew went on to have a lucrative freelance career
working at other big New York City agencies (Modem Media and Organic) In 1998, he
played an instrumental role as production lead for Gateway's website redesign.
Online sales increased by more than 50% following the new website launch.
In 2000, the year his first son was born, he launched Medium Well in New York City,
completing projects for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Miavita, Kinetic Records, Immortal
Sports, Samii Clothing, Lisa Nading, and the Oxygen channel.
In 2003, Olive and Bettes approached Matthew to help grow their online business, and
develop, implement and manage an e-commerce store. With other retailers signing on,
Medium Well gained valuable experience managing successful online marketing solutions
and effective e-commerce websites with proven sales and revenues.
In 2004, a second son was born and in 2006 Matthew moved the Medium Well offices to New Haven, CT.
Katherine Gulick
Katherine Gulick has over 15 years of experience working in commercial photography and advertising,
handling the production of large-scale photography shoots for various Fortune 500 clients, such as Nike,
Tommy Hilfiger, ESPN, Wells Fargo, Busch Entertainment Corporation. Katherine got her start working as
an Art Buyer and photo producer at Wieden and Kennedy in Portland OR on the Nike account.
In 1995 Katherine took time off from her career to enroll in The School of Visual Arts in New York City
receiving a Masters in Photography and Related Media in 1997.
After graduate school Katherine continued to pursue her career as a producer and art buyer, working for
Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners, McCann-Erickson Worldwide, MVBMS, Wieden and Kennedy, and Hallmark Loyalty,
among others. She was fortunate to assign great projects to top-tier photographers and production crew,
producing national print campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, ESPN, Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Wells Fargo, Target.
Her great eye for photography and her ability to juggle many details under tight deadlines, assured her
continued success in the field.
Since 2006, she has been a partner at Medium Well Inc. managing all account production, and providing
valuable client consulting on brand building, SEO and PPC campaigns. She brings both her artistic and
production skills to the company; equally able to write copy, shoot photographs, design an email blast,
update a site, as she is at sifting through analytical data, organizing an effective Pay per Click
campaign, and staying abreast of web 2.0 opportunities.
Katherine lives in Hamden, CT with her partner and husband Matthew Harris and their two children Raif and
Dominick. She is a member of the Clark Dance Theatre and is an avid gardener.
