Our favorite way to do business is to literally partner with our clients. If they don’t make money, we don’t make money. There’s no better way to get everyone on same the page and to let everyone know that we are all working for the same goal. That being said, not all business relationships are ideal for partnering. Sometimes it makes sense to work on a retainer or for a flat fee for a while in order to get to know each other–getting to know each others working styles and expectations. Sometimes a clients simply wants a few tasks accomplished: a marketing plan, a site redesign, or a site upgrade to a content management system like Joomla or WordPress. In this case, a flat fee for service can be arranged.

However, for those clients who are looking for sustained growth, either e-commerce growth or in the form of leads generation, a contract based on a percentage of sales and/or the number of leads generated can be worked out and can be very lucrative for both parties. With this kind of agreement an increased workload can be accomplished up front, for less, in exchange for larger returns in the future.
