The Perfect Product Photo
Easier said than done…. I’ve been working on getting the perfect photograph of nail polish in the bottle for a couple of years now… literally.

The big challenge with photographing nail polish in the bottle is that the bottle and polish need to photographed differently to get the best effect. The bottle glass looks great when you have light coming in from the back, while the polish (particularly polish with shimmers) looks best when you blast it with light from the front.
The photo you see above is actually a composite for 2 different images and multiple post production effects and photoshop layering.
